How OXYGRO Equipment Fits This Crop

Berries need two different root zones. Strawberries want a free-draining substrate that still holds steady moisture. Blueberries, raspberries and blackberries want an acidic, open medium that protects shallow roots from waterlogging.

Strawberry substrate. The Strawberry Premium Blend is 90% cocopith and 10% coco chips, in growbags with 12 plant holes. EC is below 0.7 mS/cm and pH is 5.5–6.5.

Blueberry and cane-berry substrate. The 70/30 blend has a pH of 4.5–5.5, the range blueberries need to avoid deficiencies such as iron chlorosis. It comes as a 27 L block or as square and round growbags.

Measuring each pot. Plant Scale-III weighs a single pot or bag and records every feed and drainage event, including volume, EC and pH. This removes manual leachate collection. Plant Scale-I is also built for greenhouse strawberry cultivation.

Water and feed. The ASEPTICER Blueberry Edition disinfects 5 to 10 m³/h of drain water with one 1000 W lamp. JET Bypass-III is designed for precision growing of crops such as blueberries on main pipes of up to 100 m³/h.
