Tomatoes, Peppers and Cucumbers
Substrate, fertigation, drain-water disinfection and weighing for vine crops on 10–12-month cycles.

Growing Media
Design Mix · 60/40
A 60/40 blend of double-sieved cocopith and coco chips with EC below 0.5 mS/cm and pH 5.8–6.5, supplied as growbags and grow slabs.
What It Is
This airy, low-EC coco substrate stays stable through 10–12-month vine crops.
Vine crops stand in the same substrate for 10 to 12 months, so the medium has to stay open and stable for the whole season. The Tropical Design Mix pairs double-sieved cocopith (0.5–8 mm) for water retention with 8–16 mm coco chips for air. EC stays below 0.5 mS/cm for precise feeding, and the mix re-wets fast.
The cocopith is separated from the long husk fibres, washed to remove salts, dried and sieved. The coco chips are cut from whole husk, washed, dried and matured for several months to stabilise before grading. Both are packed in woven fabric bags, as growbags or 5 kg grow slabs.

Applications

Substrate, fertigation, drain-water disinfection and weighing for vine crops on 10–12-month cycles.
Works With

This coco blend drains freely and still holds steady moisture for strawberries.

This acidic, open coco substrate suits cane and bush berries.

Plant Scale weighs the substrate so irrigation follows measured data.
Tell us your crop, flow rate and number of irrigation zones and we will confirm the model, edition and options.
