What It Is

Overview

JET Bypass-III fertigates large substrate and soil-grown crops in bypass mode.

JET Bypass-III mounts on the main irrigation pipe and works in bypass mode. A booster pump draws water from the fresh-water tank, the unit mixes fertiliser in its mixing chamber, and the dosed water rejoins the main pipe ahead of the flow sensor, filter and irrigation valves.

The Essential edition is a stand-alone unit for main pipes of 10 to 50 m³/h at up to 4.5 bar, with up to 16 irrigation valves and six time-based programmes. The Professional edition can also run as a substation of a central system. It handles 10 to 100 m³/h at up to 7.0 bar, up to 64 valves and unlimited time-based programmes, with laptop control added.

Who It Is ForLarge substrate and precision soil-grown operations, such as flowers and blueberries, that need fertigation on a high-flow main pipe without routing all the water through the unit.

Features

  • The German high-precision EC sensor needs no calibration.
  • An intelligent pH sensor works alongside the dual EC sensors.
  • One unit runs in both direct-injection mode and day-tank mode.
  • Operate it from the touch screen, a smartphone or a laptop.

JET Bypass-III installation (bypass mode) Bypass-mode schematic for the JET Bypass-III. A booster pump draws water from a fresh-water tank into the main pipe. The JET Bypass-III sits on the main pipe, taking a side stream and returning it with fertiliser. Downstream are a flow sensor, a pressure gauge and a filter, then four irrigation valves feed four zones.
